Summary

As the battle unfolded, the Guandou army found itself outnumbered and isolated, leading to chaotic fighting. The Xiahou guards executed their plan, overwhelming the Guandou's southern troops and forcing them into retreat. Despite the Guandou Elder's attempts to regroup and reinforce, they faced significant losses and were ultimately unable to penetrate the fortified defenses of the Chao Court's camp. Exhausted and with substantial casualties, the Guandou Elder ordered a retreat, realizing the dire state of his forces.
