Summary

Li Mu reflects on the insignificance of the Nine Divine Sects compared to ancient powers, feeling conflicted about his cultivation. While exploring a mountainous region, he encounters a mischievous mountain monkey wearing his stolen clothes. As he pursues the monkey, he realizes the creatures are illusions, created from the golden monkey's hairs. Despite their cleverness, Li Mu's flying knife technique proves superior. The golden monkey attempts to escape, summoning more illusions, but they are swiftly defeated. The chase continues until the monkey retreats into a cave, leaving Li Mu intrigued by the encounter.
