Chapter 334: The Disciples. [435]
Summary
Yue Chen returned to Yun Shui Mountain after the selection conference for disciples, encountering Xiang Yun and the last batch of spiritual children. He noted their excitement, recognizing this moment would change their lives. Yue Chen, as headmaster, refrained from participating in rituals and observed that forty-five children were accepted into the inner sect. He was approached by Lu Zhu, who inquired about strange beasts in the Ten Thousand Great Mountains. Yue Chen revealed he had slain the withered bone old demon, surprising Lu Zhu. She mentioned a girl she saved, Qian Er, whom she had taken as a disciple. Qian Er was nervous but hopeful upon meeting Yue Chen, who healed her after she fainted from gratitude. He gifted her a flying sword through Lu Zhu, emphasizing the importance of not showing favoritism among disciples as the sect grew.Full content
