Summary

Wu Mian recalls fragments of his first meeting with Gui Bu Gui while traveling together after escaping Xianyang City. Gui Bu Gui reveals he prepared a cave in Yangshan for refuge during war. After reaching the cave, Wu Mian settles in and begins recovering from his weakened state, while Gui Bu Gui becomes a reluctant guide in sorcery. Their dynamic shifts when Gui Bu Gui learns about impending danger from Guang Ren's disciple, Huo Shan, who is searching for them. Despite initial confidence in their secrecy, the situation grows tense as supplies dwindle, forcing them to confront threats from the outside world.
