Summary

In the story, Han Yun Niang anxiously awaits the return of her brother, San Ge, who was taken to Gu Wei. Despite his promise to return before New Year's Eve, he has not yet come back by the 8th of the first month. As she reflects on her worries, a commotion outside signals his arrival. Han Gang returns home after a long journey, greeted by family and a new puppy. Despite the cold and hardships faced during his travels, he shares light-hearted moments with his family, including naming the puppy "Little Black." The narrative captures themes of family bonds, the struggles of winter, and the joy of reunion after a long absence.
