Summary

In a large tent, Li Yan Qing and four fellow soldiers are sorting through a vast pile of documents collected from intelligence points in Western Xia. Li Yan Qing instructs them to categorize the materials, assuring them they won't finish today. He leaves to meet General Zhong Shi Dao and Grand Marshal Tong Guan, who unexpectedly visits the camp. They discuss Li Yan Qing's skills and recent achievements, particularly the seizure of a significant amount of wealth, which Tong Guan seems interested in. Zhong Shi Dao cleverly informs Tong Guan that he has reported the wealth to the Emperor, preventing Tong Guan from taking it without consequences. After some political maneuvering, Tong Guan leaves with a portion of the gold, while Li Yan Qing and Zhong Shi Dao discuss the implications of the situation. Just as they finish, a guard announces that an official named Zong Ze has arrived to take up his position.
