Summary

Mo Ming Mi launched an assault on Cheng Dalei's stronghold, Hamagura Island, with a large army but without cavalry. The imperial army's formation was different from the Rong tribe's, specializing in heavy siege equipment. Despite being outnumbered, Cheng Dalei's forces managed to withstand the first wave of the siege, and they counterattacked, beating the retreating foes. Cheng Dalei understood that Mo Ming Mi had yet to unleash his true power and that the enemy's forces exceeded ten thousand, ten times that of Hamagura's. The three leaders were torn between their loyalty to Cheng Dalei and their fear of Mo Ming Mi, ultimately deciding to do the bare minimum to get through the situation. The eighteen leaders gathered their forces, and Mo Ming Mi launched another siege operation. Cheng Dalei was in a difficult position, but he managed to hold on using heavy crossbows. The battle dragged on for more than half a month, with the eighteen leaders fighting reluctantly and retreating when they couldn't.
