Chapter 322: "Fiery Rivers and Mountains: The Revenge Path of the Yinghe Tribe". [324]
Summary
The leader of the Ying He tribe decides to relocate to escape persecution from the Xia Dynasty, initiating preparations for migration within three days. While some clans choose to surrender to the dynasty, others gather supplies to follow the leader. Despite his reluctance to abandon his ancestors' legacy, the leader resolves to move for survival and hopes to reclaim their lands in the future. As they migrate, he witnesses the devastation caused by the Xia Dynasty, fueling his desire for revenge. In a heavenly court, Yu Di confronts Dayu about the massacre of innocents, questioning the justification for such actions during war. Dayu defends himself, claiming it was a necessary tactic to weaken the Ying He tribe, but Yu Di and the Chief Judge argue that his actions were unjustifiable and cruel. Dayu expresses a willingness to atone for his sins but believes he deserves recognition for his good deeds. The court decides to assess the extent of Dayu's actions, leading to a display of a bloody battle between the Xia Dynasty and the Guandou army as the Ying He tribe prepares for migration.Full content
