Summary

In the Black Fire Clan's camp, tension rises as Chen confronts the Clan Chief, Huo Hu, challenging his authority and the clan's traditions. The atmosphere is thick with shock, especially among the captives of the Divine Wood Clan, some of whom secretly support Chen due to his past connection to them. Huo Hu realizes the truth in Chen's words about the priest's importance over the Clan Chief, leading to an explosive confrontation when Huo Ying, Huo Yan's son, attacks Chen. The situation escalates until Chen's wolf, A Tu, intervenes, pinning Huo Ying down. Huo Yan demands Chen to stop, revealing the familial ties at stake. Chen ultimately spares Huo Ying for Huo Yan's sake but warns him of the consequences of such reckless actions. Later, in a private conversation, Huo Yan expresses concern over Chen's growing power and influence within the clan, acknowledging that Chen's abilities might soon surpass his own.
