Summary

The protagonist encounters a monstrous worm resembling an earthworm, adorned with tentacles and a massive mouth. After collapsing on a stone, the protagonist experiences a breakthrough in mental power, speculating that a mysterious white fluid from the worms may have contributed. However, the fluid is gone, leaving them disappointed. They decide to wait for dawn, reflecting on their journey and thoughts of a companion, Zhao Xiaomin.
