Summary

In this chapter, Maki Miyazawa finds herself in a situation with a photographer who had secretly filmed her, but thanks to her friends’ support, especially Ezaki Naoha, they manage to resolve the issue with the help of a police officer. Afterwards, the girls take statements, and Maki exchanges contact information with Maki as a gesture of gratitude. Despite a brief feeling of unease triggered by a strange look Maki gave her and Sawayama Haruno, Maki dismisses it and heads home with Haruno. Once home, Sawayama Haruno turns on the lights in their dim living room and sees Maki struggling to take off her shoes and socks. He orders her to put away snacks and clean the ice cream machine they plan to use that night, hinting at a playful tension between them. Maki protests, but Sawayama remains firm, playfully reminding her of a past conversation with his sister, Mana. As their back-and-forth continues, Maki feels conflicted over the perception of her relationship with Haruno and Mana. Sawayama heads to his room after Maki reluctantly agrees to take care of the tasks he assigned. There, a system notification reveals a new mission related to uncovering connections between Maki and Mine Shiori, his ex-girlfriend. Scheduled for 8:30 PM at Suichihou Dance Park, this task promises a reward which motivates Sawayama despite his reluctance to engage further with his past relationship issues.
