Summary

Dayu and his son conceal Yi Di's fate due to uncertainty about his survival, while the lord of the Ying He tribe aims to use Yi Di's name for his own gain. Neither side discloses information, leading to a stalemate. Dayu fears that if Yi Di is alive, his relatives might rally against the court, while the Ying He tribe suspects Dayu of kidnapping Yi Di. After three days, Dayu announces that Yi Di colluded with enemies, tarnishing his image and inciting public outrage. Some question Yi Di's whereabouts, fearing his potential resurgence. Dayu instructs Grand Minister Xia Qi to stabilize the situation as the Ying He tribe attacks. Xia Qi inspires the defenders of Wang Ji, who, despite fierce assaults, hold their ground. Reinforcements from the Xia Hou clan arrive, disrupting the Ying He tribe's formation and allowing the court's troops to regain the upper hand. The Ying He tribe's forces regroup and continue their assault on the city.
