Summary

Chen Feng lost to Zhang Ye, a Beijing University literature lecturer, in a couplet competition. Despite the loss, Chen Feng was magnanimous and acknowledged Zhang Ye's expertise. Zhang Ye was Rao Ai Min's tenant, and after Chen Feng and Lu Yu Hu left, Zhang Ye's true nature was revealed as he began to flirt with Rao Ai Min. However, Rao Ai Min was not interested and instead ordered Zhang Ye to do household chores, treating him like a laborer. Zhang Ye eventually finished his tasks and attempted to get into Rao Ai Min's bedroom by telling Chen Chen a story, but was rebuffed. Rao Ai Min then ordered Zhang Ye to leave, and he was left frustrated.
