Summary

Zhang Bai Ren encounters Huang Pu Yi, who feigns friendliness despite their past conflict. Tasked by the Emperor to investigate a canal issue, Zhang discovers ominous yellow blood at the site, believed to bring misfortune. Huang Pu Yi's ulterior motives remain hidden as he assists Zhang. Later, Zhang visits Yang Su, who reveals his impending death and expresses concern for his seven sons. Yang Su offers Zhang a powerful treasure, the Vajra Indestructible Body, in exchange for his support of his sons after his death. Zhang, initially hesitant, agrees, intrigued by the potential power but wary of the implications.
