Summary

The story revolves around a young man who meets a beggar named An Jia Dong, guided by Liu Lao. An Jia Dong's father, An Ding Guo, was a former underworld boss who died mysteriously. After his death, his family fell into poverty, and his wife committed suicide. An Jia Dong seeks help to give his father a proper burial, as a corpse handler had hidden his father's body in a corpse nurturing ground out of revenge. Liu Lao predicts the protagonist will help An Jia Dong and provides him with talismans and a sword. They travel to Jiemu Creek Village, where An Jia Dong is met with hostility from the locals due to his father's past crimes.
