Chapter 315: Couplets. [314]
Summary
Su Qi and Dou Zi visit a bookstore to buy red paper and ink for writing couplets. They quickly return home, where Dou Zi helps clean the table for writing. Aunt Qin, noticing Dou Zi's struggle, takes over the cleaning. Su Qi cuts the paper and begins writing the couplets, impressing Aunt Qin with her skill. Dou Zi humorously claims that Su Qi's writing is the best he's seen, and they all share a laugh. Su Qi finishes five pairs of couplets and gifts two to Aunt Qin, who is thrilled and praises her talent. They discuss the potential profit from selling couplets, although Su Qi and her family are financially secure. After sticking up the couplets, Xiao Bei returns home and is surprised by the beautiful writing, while Dou Zi proudly announces that his mother wrote them.Full content
