Summary

Summary of the story: Su Xi Er, a poor and timid girl, encounters Ye Fan, a compassionate doctor. During a meal together, she prevents him from drinking and carefully serves him food. Ye Fan, touched by her kindness, helps her by giving her money and steamed buns. As he leaves her modest living space in an urban village, he is confronted by a group led by Song Mu, who claims to be looking for Su Xi Er. Ye Fan defiantly declares that she is "his person," setting up a tense confrontation.
