Summary

In the palace's chaos, the Master of the Tower aimed to kill Wu Di, thinking he could then control the prince. With Wu Mian and Gui Bu Gui absent, he lunged at Wu Di but was suddenly attacked by a familiar short sword. Suspecting Da Fang Shi's involvement, the Master was caught off guard as Wu Di transformed into Guang Ren. Just as he lunged for Wu Di, he was stabbed from behind by another sword, revealing Guang Ren's disguise. Despite being injured, the Master began to heal quickly as Huo Shan and Su Mo approached, only to be intercepted by Guang Ren, who had revealed his true form.
