Summary

In the Kunlun Mountains, Laozi summons his disciple, Xuan Dou, who has recently achieved early quasi-sainthood. Laozi proposes that Xuan Dou become the Human Emperor, a role he never imagined for himself. Laozi assures him that he is the most suitable candidate and gifts him primordial purple energy, which can help him achieve sainthood. Xuan Dou, overwhelmed with excitement, accepts the energy and also receives the Qian Kun Map as a treasure. After Xuan Dou leaves, Laozi and his brother Yuan Shi discuss the implications of Xuan Dou's new role and the influence of the Ancestor of Dao, indicating a deeper plan at play. Yuan Shi expresses concern about his own position, but Laozi reassures him that he has plans for him as well. They also discuss the potential threat posed by Western teachings encroaching on humanity, deciding to let Xuan Dou handle it once he becomes the Human Emperor.
