Summary

The protagonist carves the God Suppressing Stele to subdue the powerful Sphinx, Lion Mad, while his ally Yuan Hong unexpectedly attacks him. Despite the initial success of the stele, the Lion Mad gains strength and threatens the protagonist. After incapacitating Yuan Hong, the protagonist struggles against the Lion Mad's growing power. In a desperate move, he uses a forbidden technique involving his blood to activate a stele, ultimately defeating the Lion Mad but fainting in the process. Upon waking, he finds Yuan Hong pleased to see him awake, leading to a discussion about the events.
