Summary

In a dark tomb, Wu Zi and his companions discover an upright coffin integrated with a jade lotus. Si Yan warns against opening it, citing a potential balancing mechanism and unknown contents. They learn from Liu Cheng that the tomb's history involves a king seeking a miraculous elixir, leading to the discovery of an ancient corpse. Tension rises as a corpse emerges from the coffin, prompting Si Yan to rush into a cave. As ghostly birds gather and marching corpses, including a recently deceased Old Li, follow, the group realizes they must escape.
