Summary

Xu Liao arrives at a deserted village plaza and discovers a silver treasure chest. As he approaches, he is attacked by a strange ancient tree with writhing branches. After a tense battle, he ignites the tree, causing it to burn down. Once defeated, he finds a dark golden spear and a green scroll containing the Shadow Whip Technique. After learning the technique, he creates a black whip of demonic energy. He then opens the silver treasure chest, finding a large amount of triangular coins and an oval mirror with a unique slot.
