Summary

Shi Mu, sitting outside a cave, finishes reading an ancient text about the West He Da 6 and the Demon Race, noting its vastness and the dominance of demon beasts over humans. He learns about the different ranks of demon beasts and their transformation abilities. After storing the book, he examines a map provided by Lu Tang, noting the strained relations between Peaceful and Fierce Barbarians. Deciding to head towards the Fierce Snake Tribe's territory, he travels through the dangerous Snake Cave Swamp, where he encounters and defeats a giant black python to collect its beast soul. While searching for a spiritual herb, he is confronted by a patrol team from the Fierce Snake Tribe, who accuse him of poaching. To avoid conflict, Shi Mu pretends to be a member of the tribe but quickly realizes they are attempting to rob him. In response, he uses a talisman to attack the burly leader of the patrol, leading to a fierce confrontation.
