Summary

Sun Pang Zi, despite his experience, lacks deep knowledge of nightmares, which are often misunderstood due to their ghost-demon nature. Yang Xiao, who has faced nightmares before, expresses uncertainty about dealing with them again. Sun Pang Zi decides to split his group to search for clues regarding the nightmares and emphasizes the importance of gathering villagers outside the village by night. As they prepare, Tan Cun Chang, a villager, agrees to ensure the village's evacuation. Sun Pang Zi insists on the need for meals with ample salt, which he humorously considers crucial. They eventually split into two groups to investigate the village, guided by an Elder, leading them to the ancestral hall where previous ghostly encounters occurred.
