Summary

In the mobile city of Rhodes Island, Orson returns from a paid leave, looking for Kelsey in the medical department. He is well-regarded by the elite operators, seen as a mascot among medical staff, and considered a reliable leader by Amiya. Despite the warm feelings most have for him, he feels uneasy about two individuals: Waferlin, who wants to study his unique blood, and Javier, a doctor with a boxing background keen on fighting him. Orson brings a special pen from Ursus for Kelsey’s apprentice, Ya Ye, but humorously reveals its intended use as a weapon. After a brief exchange, he discovers Kelsey is in her office. Upon entering, he finds her asleep, illustrating a rare, vulnerable moment that surprises him. But Kelsey wakes suddenly and comically attempts to use her robotic assistant, M3, to fend him off. After a playful interaction, Kelsey shifts back to her serious demeanor, asking Orson about a petition concerning him back in Laterano.
