Summary

The protagonist prepares to leave for the Wasteland for training, informing the Ice Maiden and her daughter, Meng Qi, before a lavish farewell dinner. After departing, the protagonist travels with a knowledgeable driver, Yuan Hong, who shares tales of mystical places. Their journey takes a turn when the horse collapses due to the appearance of Desert Bone Scorpions, creatures known for their deadly venom. Yuan Hong panics, leading them to flee on foot towards the nearest town, as their carriage is lost. Despite the danger, they remain hopeful, equipped with enough supplies to continue their journey.
