Summary

Bajie confronts the Golden Horn and Silver Horn for stealing treasures and causing trouble, fearing for his master Xuanzang's safety. Despite their reassurances, Bajie feels uneasy about their lack of respect for their master. The demons, eager to avoid conflict, invite them to feast, and soon everyone is drunk. As two days pass, Xuanzang remains focused on his scriptures, indifferent to the dangers around him. The demons plot to keep him safe, using magic to ensure he can endure the elements. Meanwhile, Xuanzang reflects on his journey, resigned to the idea of shared fate with his disciples, even in death.
