Summary

Lord Mouse uses supernatural symbols to ignite bizarre flames around a little sapling, which screams in desperation and fear. The sapling is filled with resentment and hatred towards Lord Mouse, who confronts it for attempting to possess Tian Ge Er. Lord Mouse explains the impossibility of the sapling's possession due to its lack of a soul and its origins as mere resentment from the old Jin Gui tree. As Lord Mouse refines the sapling's negative energy, it begins to transform and grow, eventually becoming a vibrant tree demon. Grateful, the tree demon thanks Lord Mouse, who encourages it to follow Tian Ge Er and explore its newfound abilities, leading to the blossoming of fragrant flowers from the old Jin Gui.
