Summary

Lin Qi Ye encounters Wu Old Dog in his dream, where they discuss a painful past linked to a death that occurred in the clearing. Wu Old Dog reveals that he does not want to leave the abstinence center because someone outside wants to kill him. Despite Lin Qi Ye's offer to help him escape, Wu Old Dog insists that he belongs there and advises Lin Qi Ye to wait for the right moment to leave. The scene shifts to a desert where Sleep-talking is confronted by seven hooded figures, the Spirit Medium, who have been hunting him for two years. They demand his death, prompting Sleep-talking to retaliate with nightmare tentacles. However, the Spirit Medium easily destroys them, and Sleep-talking escapes, heading towards the southeastern sea, raising concerns among the figures.
