Summary

In the Southern Song Dynasty, Zhou Yang, Bai Suzhen, and Little Qing strolled through the bustling streets of Qiantang County. Zhou Yang, who had just entered the world of the Legend of the White Snake, noticed the higher level of this world. He wanted to visit the Heavenly Court but was prohibited by the system's rules. Instead, he aimed to repay Xu Xian, a pharmacy apprentice and reincarnation of the cowherd, for his kindness to Bai Suzhen. Xu Xian wished to top the imperial examination and become a government official. To grant his wish, Zhou Yang and his companions flew to Lin'an City to meet Emperor Gaozong of Song, Zhao Gou. They proposed a deal: in exchange for a cultivation method, the emperor would help Xu Xian achieve the highest honors. The emperor agreed, and a decree was written to make Xu Xian's wish come true. Zhou Yang and the others followed the procession reading the decree, returning to Qiantang County.
