Summary

Zhang Xuan decides to leave Luo Yang early, feeling it's pointless to wait for the Ministry of War's decisions. He plans to return to Beihai County and offers to take letters for Qin Qiong and others. The next morning, the Guangling Princess arrives at the Lu residence, surprising Madam Lu, who is preoccupied with her daughter's upcoming marriage. The princess visits Lu Qing, who had previously made plans to go out with her, leaving Madam Lu anxious about her daughter's absence. As the princess and Lu Qing depart, the Lu guards follow at a distance, but they soon realize Lu Qing is missing from the carriage. Yang Ji Er, the princess, returns to the palace, leaving Madam Lu in a panic when she discovers her daughter's letter, leading her to fear that all her efforts regarding the marriage have been in vain.
