Summary

Old Zhao reflects on his disciple's need for growth through setbacks as a duel with Ren Sha intensifies. Initially struggling, the protagonist realizes the vast skill gap between them. Despite severe injuries and Meng Qi's pleas to concede, he insists on continuing. Just as Old Zhao prepares to end the match, the protagonist asserts his determination to fight. With the Dragon Carving Blade, he finally counters Ren Sha's attacks, surprising everyone by knocking Ren Sha's sword away. Ren Sha, astonished, questions the protagonist's sudden strength, who cryptically claims it's a secret.
