Summary

An Zheng feels anxious about the captured female disciples of Tian Hao Palace, realizing their suffering is a result of his actions. Despite Du Shoushou's reassurances about their opponent, He Lian Xiao Xin, An Zheng knows the martial arts world of Da Xi is vastly different and more dangerous than Yan Country. As they approach the border, they encounter a Bear Tiger Beast and a haughty study attendant, who threatens them. Du Shoushou, confident in her abilities, attacks the beast and easily overpowers it, surprising the attendant. After defeating the beast, they search the attendant for valuables, but find little of worth, leading to Du Shoushou's frustration with the attendant's arrogance.
