Summary

The meal at the clean restaurant was satisfying, featuring local specialties. Yue Chen, mostly healed from his injuries, enjoyed the dreamlike state he was in and didn't want to leave. After the meal, he and his family were taken to a temporary home by Xiao Lian, a girl who was left behind by her parents working in the city. The house was simple but felt comfortable due to Xiao Lian's pure-hearted nature. Yue Chen interacted with Xiao Lian, who was shy and timid, and later met Teacher Wu and another teacher regarding a donation for a local school. He donated one hundred thousand, surprising the teachers. They discussed whether Yin Yin's mom would agree to the donation. In the afternoon, families gathered for a parent-child activity at a creek. Yue Chen enjoyed playing with his daughter Yin Yin and Xiao Lian, choosing not to catch fish after Yin Yin expressed concern for them. He carried Shen Li Dan into the forest, much to her annoyance, while the children laughed and played.
