Summary

Shi Mu awakens in darkness, immobilized and in pain at the ocean floor, surrounded by vibrant coral-like trees and colorful fish. He narrowly escapes a gray sea beast due to a protective blue pearl gifted by Xiangzhu. As he recalls his battle with a giant octopus and the transformation into a white ape, he contemplates the significance of his dreams and the mysteries of his past. After recovering his strength, he breaks the surface of the water and is joyfully reunited with Cai Er, who waited for him. They discuss his transformation and the implications of being possessed by a demon soul. Shi Mu learns that Liu An and others believed he was dead during the chaos.
