Summary

A group of merchants, saved by a sea dragon during a storm, built a temple to honor it, leading to widespread belief in the dragon across Malacca. Bai Zhou, a young woman, visits the Dragon God Temple, where she encounters an old fortune-teller. After drawing a bad omen stick, she confronts the old woman, who reacts violently. Bai Zhou, revealing her mystical abilities, subdues the fortune-teller and demands the whereabouts of Master Man Jia. The old woman, terrified, reveals a hidden passage behind her, which Bai Zhou enters, the wall closing behind her.
