Chapter 300: Feasibility of Enlightenment in the Three Realms. [300]

Summary

In the late stage of Near-Sainthood, Tang Seng faces a persistent crisis but chooses to focus on improving his strength step by step. He instructs his disciples to rest before setting off at dawn. As they descend from the mountain, merchants are busy preparing for their journey, unaware of the centipede demon's defeat. Tang Seng, draped in his kasaya, is warmly received by monks and later welcomed by the lodge master in the Golden City of Iron Cauldron. Despite the station master's initial fear of his unconventional-looking disciples, Tang Seng reassures him. He reflects on the rigid social hierarchy, realizing the importance of education and vowing to promote enlightenment upon his return to the Great Tang.
