Chapter 30: Thoughts Blown Away by the Wind. [304]
Summary
Meng Yuan Zhi and Tie Xin Yuan discuss the improbability of rebellion during a fierce storm, with Meng doubting Tie's ambitions. Meanwhile, Bao Zheng, bedridden and reflecting on his life, contemplates retirement amidst political turmoil. His wife urges him to leave the court, but Bao feels trapped by duty.
