Summary

Uchiha Hiei, possessing the soul of the 4th Kazekage, Luo Sha, contemplates the Magnet Release technique but finds it lacking in synergy with his own abilities. He seeks to enhance his physical and mental strength through this power. Arriving in a border town, he confronts Fu Bu Yi Lang, a traitor from Konoha who is actually a spy from Kumogakure. After a fierce battle, Hiei defeats him and extracts the incomplete Lightning Release Chakra Mode from his soul. Following the mission, Hiei reflects on the nature of bloodlines and kekkei genkai while using his newfound powers to extract gold from sand. Upon returning to Konoha, he presents Fu Bu Yi Lang's head to Danzo, who offers him various missions, including high-profile assassinations and intelligence thefts.
