Summary

Yun Lang encounters a tiger and an old woman, Granny Tiger, who lifts him onto the tiger's back. Despite his fear, Yun Lang observes Granny Tiger's human-like attire and behavior. As they travel through the mountains, Yun Lang is tormented by the tiger's movement but notices Granny Tiger's peculiar actions, like squeezing a pear for juice. They reach a cave where Granny Tiger and the tiger eat a wild boar. Yun Lang realizes they don't intend to harm him, offering a glimmer of hope in his strange new reality. The cave is orderly, suggesting a prolonged stay.
