Summary

Xiao Fan, stranded on an island, finds a patch of sand to sleep on but struggles with discomfort. He searches for banana leaves to create a makeshift mattress, injuring his feet in the process. After identifying banana trees, he realizes the fruit is inedible. He uses a stone to cut leaves and creates a bed that alleviates some pain. Exhausted and thirsty, he tries to sleep but is disturbed by the cold and wind. He attempts to build a windbreak with leaves and stones, but it collapses. Undeterred, he weaves a mat from banana leaf veins for better shelter. Despite the challenges, he begins to adapt and finds a sense of hope in his situation, wishing for companionship to enhance his experience.
