Chapter 3: The Blood of the Abandoned God [2]

Summary

Li Hao experiences a sudden influx of knowledge about swordsmanship, causing him physical pain. Comforted by Liu Yue Rong, he realizes he has progressed to the First Stage of swordsmanship, a feat usually taking years to achieve. As he reflects on his abilities, he overhears a conversation revealing that his second mother is planning something harmful involving him, motivated by the desire to awaken his potential divine blood. This revelation shatters his perception of her care as a facade. Three years later, after taking a mysterious medicine, Li Hao falls seriously ill, but doctors find no abnormalities. He begins to focus on growing up while hoping for the return of his parents from the battlefield. At three, he exhibits an unusual obsession with cleanliness, and the rigorous training schedule of the Divine General's Mansion is outlined, indicating that children begin their martial arts training as early as six years old.
