Summary

Lv Nian, filled with doubt, randomly selects Chapter 10 of his novel, which involves a sect called Han Shui Jian Meng and an impending ambush. He falls asleep and wakes up in the story, on a large warship as a green-clothed attendant. As the midnight attack approaches, he overhears a conversation between Zhu Ren Sui, the Shaanxi leader, and Shi Hu, the Shanxi branch leader, regarding the stolen National Seal and potential ambushes at Dingjun Mountain. While Zhu Ren Sui dismisses Shi Hu's concerns, Lv Nian realizes the tension between the factions and the danger they face. The chapter ends with Zhu Ren Sui contemplating Shi Hu's motives and the possible threat to their safety.
