Summary

Qian Hao, the son of a prominent government official, is pursued by Zhao Jing, who orchestrates a breakup with her ex to catch his attention. At Qian Hao's extravagant birthday party, filled with friends and lively music, Xiao Lu feels out of place and is approached by Wei Ran, a friend of Qian Hao. Despite her reluctance to socialize, they engage in conversation. Qian Hao and Zhao Jing dance, while Wei Ran tries to draw Xiao Lu out of her shell. Zhao Jing encourages Xiao Lu to join the festivities, but Xiao Lu feels increasingly uncomfortable, realizing she may not belong in this social scene.
