Summary

Yue Chen examines a poisonous insect resembling a grotesque meat insect, recently extracted from his sister's finger. The old Medicine Master, Meng, expresses concern over its origin. He also gifts Steel Tooth a box of one hundred American enhancement potions, which excite him due to their potential benefits. Afterward, Yue Chen reassures Gao Ling Wei about his sister's condition, emphasizing the need to find the root cause of the parasite that had been in her body for over a month. He concludes that the poisonous insect was aimed at his sister, not him, and decides it’s safer for her to remain in the estate.
