Summary

In a perilous tomb passage, the narrator and Liu Peng encounter and defeat two weakened zombies by removing silver needles and using strategic combat. Upon returning to their original location, they discover Wu Zhi Cong and Wu Zhi Yuan have disappeared, with a mysterious staircase in their place. Descending the stairs, they reach a massive chamber containing a blood-red coffin adorned with zombie-suppressing talismans. Wu Zhi Yuan insists on opening the coffin, despite warnings from the narrator about the extreme danger. Tensions escalate when Wu Zhi Yuan locks the door, trapping everyone inside and preventing escape.
