Summary

Tan Xin confronts the leader of the Aurora Base about the 'Reappearance' plan, which he believes is futile after three centuries of failure. He advocates for the 'Hand of Salvation' plan to preserve the lives of the citizens of Aurora City. The leader insists on the importance of Aurora Lord for humanity's future, but Tan Xin argues that humanity as a whole is more significant. Their ideological clash culminates in Tan Xin betraying the leader, shooting him, and subsequently leaving the dark room. Unbeknownst to him, a hidden figure within the base orders his assassination and retrieval of a crucial detonator, marking Tan Xin as a wanted target.
