Summary

Tang Feng and Ling Qian Yan encounter a mid-grade earth-level spirit beast, which initially attacks Tang Feng. Despite its ferocity, Tang Feng manages to ride the beast, causing it to crash into walls in agitation. Ling Qian Yan struggles to communicate with the beast, which eventually calms down. Tang Feng feeds it meat, feeling sympathy for its plight and the cruel treatment of spirit beasts at Wulong Fortress. Outside, Chu Wen Xuan grows anxious about Tang Feng's silence, fearing he might have been killed. He consults Steward Dai, who reassures him that Tang Feng is likely fine, suspecting he is feeding the beast.
