Summary

The story follows Lei Qing Yuan's misadventure after being pranked by Lan Qing and Dai Zhe, who stage an elaborate ghost haunting. They tie him up and leave him in a misty forest, hanging from a tree branch. Meanwhile, back in the village, his disappearance causes panic and rumors of ghost attacks. Despite being left alone in the forest, Lei Qing Yuan receives unexpected care from Dai Zhe, who ensures he has water and food.
