Chapter 296: The Unyielding Grip. [297]
Summary
Zhu Hao Miao, with a sinister grin, comforts the terrified black-faced Giant Man, claiming that becoming his meal is a great honor. As the Giant Man struggles in fear, outside the prison, Yan Yun Sheng and his group feel tremors and hear screams, prompting them to urge him to investigate. Despite his injuries, Yan Yun Sheng cautiously enters the prison, only to find Zhu Hao Miao emerging unharmed and satisfied. Zhu instructs him to document the incident and report the tragedy of a sixth-grade killer's rampage, revealing that he intentionally allowed the enemy to invade to settle a score. Yan Yun Sheng, realizing Zhu's cleverness, agrees to handle the aftermath respectfully. Zhu checks on the injured constables, feeds them Kirin Soup, and reflects on the benefits of his brutal methods, which have increased his power. He decides to name his new technique "The Unyielding Grip," feeling pleased with his progress. The chapter concludes with a mysterious madam observing the theft-catching office from a nearby tavern.Full content
